This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there has been no response from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area.

If the cache owner addresses the issues that lead to archival and contacts me within a reasonable period of time (6-8 weeks), it may be possible to unarchive the cache.

Geocache Description:

Very short and quick multi. Since it is our first multi, we wanted to keep it simple...except for Necros96. You can thank him for the last leg.

So a LONG while ago I spoke with Bajatym about a cache of his that was in this park. It had gone awol for about a month or two, and I told him I had an idea for a cache in that park. He was very kind and archived the cache, freeing it up for me. I went and got my container and placed the cache, and asked him for his input. A slight snag in the cache sidelined it for about 3 weeks.

I was ready to put the cache back in play, when I saw that this could be a great multi...ok, I was hoping it would be a great multi. So I had to wait a bit more to gather the supplies I needed. Once I got everything I needed, I set things in motion...and then I had a delay.

At school, we take a walk before class. It's about a mile around the campus. At one point there is a support bar going across from a telephone pole to the support cable that is attached to it. Usually the teacher stops here and does a few pull-ups here. I decided to give it a try...and felt something tear in my left arm. I'm not sure if it was muscle or tendon, but I couldn't move my arm too will without a lot of pain. While looking into the mirror and holding a double bicep pose, I can see the difference in shape between my left and right biceps. This kept me from placing the cache for another month or three.

While walking my dogs Cubby and Frodo, I noticed ANOTHER place for part of the multi. Three weeks later I had that leg of the cache ready and in place.

Last night I went in under cover of darkness and placed my cache! Everything was perfect! I was so happy! I then sent in the form to activate the cache. I tossed and turned all night, waiting for that email stating that the cache was active. "Reviewer note posted" was the email I got. Seems that you are supposed to list all three stages of a three stage multi. :)

So now...finally...today...I went back and took measurements of the missing stage, and checked in with the two other stages. All seems ready...now I just have to leave it in the hands of the Geocaching gods...Hopefully they will smile down upon me.

Thanks again to Bajatym for the help and the Beta testing!
