Path to Springbok: Springbok Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ROTSIP: No response from the owner.
This cache appears to be gone. As there has been no cache to find for months, and it seems unlikely that it will be replaced soon, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email, quoting the GC number), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Thanks for the past fun.

Geocache Description:

Path to Springbok Series: Springbok

This cache is part of a series of five caches, each cache represents one advancement badge in the Scout Program.

I am placing these caches as part of my Springbok Hike, the last requirement for me to achieve the Top Award in Scouting Program.

The Springbok Award is the highest award a scout can achieve, if you found this cache and the other four in the series then thank you for being part of my Springbok Hike. This is one of the hardest things I have ever done as it has put my skills to the test. I have had to plan, organise and lead many events but never under such pressure. Having all eyes on you looking for the slightest thing out of place is very humbling. Having to lead 15 or more young children and teach them as we went along it has truly been a worthwhile challenge. As this hike is my final task for this award. The best have achieved this badge as the standard is high and as I look back on my scouting career I find I have used every skill I’ve been taught and it has truly been an unforgettable experience. I would recommend joining the scouting movement to any boy or Girl. The hike ended back at Barretts coaches. a very unique sleeping place for hikers.
