Stairway To Caching Heaven Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current Geocaching guidelines.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Geocache Description:

The initial coordinates of this multi-cache take you to the starting point. Terrain rated at 2.5 due to both large and loose rocks. Small Lock-N-Lock.

Welcome to my first attempt at setting up a cache! The location I have selected is one I like to spend time at and I hope you enjoy it too.

**PARKING INFO** There are some parking restrictions in this area. I suggest you park about a block away on Narissa Place (N 48° 21.438 W 123° 44.404).

The first set of coordinates (your starting point) will bring you to a trail that leads to the top of a flight of stairs, and yes, you have to go down. There are 104 steps so you'll get a workout when you come back up.

When you arrive at the last bench before the concrete stairs, pause for a few moments to locate a cache containing your next set of coordinates. Be mindful of muggles as they can appear rather quickly on the stairs. Be stealthy as you search.

With the new coordinates entered into your GPS, finish your descent to the beach. Watch your step when you negotiate the loose stones and large rocks. As you make your way to the final cache I hope you spot an eagle, seal or otter. It's usually pretty quiet here, so peaceful contemplation on a warm sunny day is a nice way to pass the time. The stormy days can be exhilarating to experience too, but please mind the waves.

Thank-you for carefully putting both caches back in place. It's been a pleasure sharing one of my favorite places with you.

**CONGRATULATIONS to e=mc cached on being the FTF my cache and claiming the FTF gift bag!!
