This is a Small Cache in one of Cincinnati's most beautiful neighborhoods, Hyde Park, on Historic St. Charles Place. Hyde Park Square is nearby with shopping and restaurants.
The Cincinnati Gas Light District covers thirteen neighborhoods including Hyde Park and parts of Columbia and Sycamore Townships. There are more than 1100 city gas lights still in place. In 1978 the Cincinnati Gas Light District was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The gas lights are seen as historic because they show 19th & early 20th century technology implemented in daily life. Please-Swap Trackables; Don't just take one. There are many muggles around so use good stealth (that's what the difficulty is for); parking may be an issue if the street is full. Please do not move the cache and make sure the bag is completely sealed. Do not over think this; its right next to the cords-use your geosense. FUTURE CACHERS**PLEASE MAKE SURE BOTH THE CACHE AND LOG CONTAINER ARE SEALED.** Since the cache is on a hill it will be ruined again if there is rain and the cache is not completely closed.
