Geocache Description:

Small dark container

Have you ever tried to make a list of all of the things or stuff that you own? Think of each room of your home and try to imagine making a list of each item. It is mindboggling to say the least.

A scout decided that he Eagle Scout project would be to conduct an inventory of the stuff in the First United Methodist Church. The church needed the list for insurance purposes, so off the scout went with the task, not fully understanding the immense project he had undertaken. He finally completed the list, including the number of chairs and hymnals and basketballs in the church. He presented the inventory to the church on an Excel spreadsheet.

The lesson learned by the scout was to fully understand the magnitude of a project before agreeing to complete it. He may not have understood this when he started, but by the time he fulfilled his obligation to the church by competing the project he understood.
