Svarstadtjernet TB Hotel Svarstadtjernet er et lite vann som befinner seg akkurat på kommunegrensen mellom Nes og Lillestrøm kommune i Viken fylke. Det ligger ikke langt fra Aulifeltet, og benyttes som badeplass om sommeren. Det er svaberg på begge langsidene av tjernet med oppbygd bålplass på den ene siden. Tjernet er et populært turmål for beboere både på Aulifeltet, Rånåsfoss og Blaker. Svarstadtjernet munner ut i en bekk som renner mot Blaker via en mindre kløft i skogen. Skogbunnen her er kalkholdig med vekst av blåveis enkelte steder. Tjernet ligger relativt høyt i terrenget og fra et utsiktspunkt i nærheten i retning nordøst fra tjernet kan man se til Tryvannstårnet i Oslo. Familien Svarstad bygget en hytte på en høyde ved tjernet på 1980-tallet. Hytten ble utsatt for skadeverk, og brant etter noen år ned. Rester av fundamentet kan fremdeles ses. Ta vare på naturen og husk CITO (=Cache-in-Trash-out). -------------------------------------------------- Svarstadtjernet TB Hotel Svarstad Pond is a small lake located just on the municipal boundary between Nes and Lillestrøm municipality in Viken county. It is not far from Aulifeltet, and used as a bathing place in summer. There are rocks on both long sides of the pond with built fireplace on one side. Pond is a popular destination for residents on both Aulifeltet, Rånåsfoss and Blaker. Svarstad Pond flows into a stream that flows from Blaker through a small gap in the forest. Forest floor here is chalky with growth of the black eye in some places. Pond is relatively high ground and from a vantage point near the northeast direction from the pond can be seen to Tryvannstårnet in Oslo. Svarstad family built a cabin on a hill at the lake in the 1980s. The cabin was subjected to vandalism, and burned after a few years down. The remains of the foundations can still be seen.
