How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Good sized pop and lock container, big enough for some decent trade items, accessable from trailhead off Rte 14 or from Camp Kiwanee. Maintained by members of Whitman Pack 22 Cubscouts.

Every year in the beginning of July the Whitman Pack 22 Cubscouts all look forward to their weekend at Camp Kiwanee in Hanson. We thought this would be a good way to get others out to see this great location and appreciate it the way we do. Also it serves as a way to get our young scouts interested in geo caching and also to help teach them GPS navigation. The cache is well hidden in a spot that doesn't require much buchwacking but may involve a rock or two.
