Piscatacache Traditional Cache

Smack dab between two states and in the middle of one of the most powerful rivers in the world when the tide is moving, Four Tree Island is a really neat place. The cache is a small, waterproof container with official Geocaching stickers. Although the paths on the island are in great condition, off path there are steep and slippery rock embankments and the mighty Piscataqua is only a few feet away. If you fall in at the right time of the day you will be out to sea before you know it! If that happens be sure to wave at the Coast Guard and Naval Stations on your way by

• UPDATE 05 August 2021: HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY TO PISCATACACHE! Now we are Ten. We are thrilled that so many people have had fun searching for this cache over the last decade.
   
• UPDATE 26 June 2022: We are pleased to announce the placement of a brand new, 2022 PISCATACACHE. After a decade on the river we're not sure if the old one simply floated out to sea or was taken as a trifle by one of the ghosts of Four Tree Island. Hopefully this new one will last at least half-as-long!!
