This is a beautiful park with very few geocaches. There should be plenty of parking nearby. To find the cache, you may have to walk through some small trails, but there are several packed dirt trails leading to the area. I forgot to leave a pen, so BYOP!
This is the first cache that ArjaTripod and I have planted! We decided to plant it in Shillito Park because it is such a nice park, with so few caches in it!
Shillito Park is a great place to go relax on a nice summer day. There are plenty of open spaces as well as everything from baseball fields to frisbee golf courses.
There should be parking close to this cache. There are many baseball fields nearby with close parking.
The cache itself is a small container with a log and room for small trinkets / trackables. I forgot to leave a pen, so be sure to BYOP.
To get to the cache, you will have to follow one of several small dirt paths to a unique clearing in the brush.
