O miejscu:
Zamek w Gniewie to najpotezniejsza twierdza Zakonu Krzyzackiego na
lewym brzegu Wisly. Zbudowana na przelomie XIII i XIV wieku byla
domem konturów krzyzackich a w czasach polskich siedziba starostów.
W wieku XIX, wielokrotnie przebudowywany (spichlerz, wiezienie),
ostatecznie splonal w Wielkim Pozarze w 1921 roku. W latach
1968-1974 Zaklady Mechanizmów Okretowych "FAMA" w Gniewie
rozpoczely I etap odbudowy zamku zakonczony ulozeniem stropów nad
ostatnia kondygnacja, wykonaniem konstrukcji dachu i jego pokrycia
dachówka ceramiczna. W roku 1992 Urzad Miasta i Gminy w Gniewie w
ramach robót publicznych rozpoczal II etap odbudowy zamku
polegajacy na wykonaniu stropów w skrzydlach zachodnim i wschodnim,
adaptacji wnetrz wraz z rekonstrukcja kaplicy oraz
zagospodarowaniem turystycznym Wzgórza Zamkowego.

About this spot:
Gniew Castle is the most powerful stronghold of the Teutonic Order
on the left bank of the Vistula. Built at the turn of the
thirteenth and fourteenth centuries was home to the commanders of
the Teutonic Knights, in times of Polish mayors seat. In the
nineteenth century, rebuilt several times (a granary, a prison),
eventually burned down in the Great Fire of 1921. In 1968-1974
Mechanisms of Marine Plants, "FAMA" in wrath begun the first stage
of reconstruction of the castle finished laying the flooring over
the last tier, execution of the roof structure and covering ceramic
tile. In 1992 the Municipal Council in the wrath of the Public
Works began the second stage of reconstruction of the castle

eastern wings, an adaptation of the interior along with the
