Gara Cluj-Napoca este una dintre cele mai mari si mai tranzitate
gari din nord-vestul României atat dupa numarul de pasageri dar si
dupa umarul trenurilor de calatorii si marfa.
Gara centrala din Cluj-Napoca se afla pe Magistrala CFR 300 si
Magistrala 401. Prin intermediul acesteia, orasul Cluj-Napoca este
conectat cu majoritatea localitatilor din România, dar si cu
Budapesta.
Aceasta se afla localizata în nordul municipiului, nu departe de
centru, iar transportul este foarte bine reprezentat, aici
putându-se ajunge cu trenul, autocarul, microbuzul, tramvaiul,
autobuzul, troleul si taxiul.
Sute de mii de oameni trec in fiecare an prin Gara Cluj-Napoca,
unul din cele mai importante obiective din oras. Gara din
Cluj-Napoca a fost construita de masoni, iar marturie stau chiar
insemnele, echerul si compasul, sunt afisate pe lateralul
garii.
Gara Cluj-Napoca, cunoscuta si sub denumirea de Gara Mare, a fost
inaugurata pe 7 septembrie 1870.

Cluj-Napoca Railway station is one of the largest and transited
railway station in northwestern Romania both after the number of
passengers and freight trains.
The Cluj-Napoca Central Station is located on the Main Line CFR 300
and 401. Through it, Cluj-Napoca is connected with most localities
in Romania, but also with Budapest.
It is located north of the city not far from the center and
transport is well represented here; you can reach by train, coach,
bus, tram, trolleybus and taxi.
Hundreds of thousands of people, each year, are passing through the
Cluj-Napoca Railway Station, one of the most important objectives
in the city.The Railway Station was built by Masons and Masonic
insignia, square and compass, are displayed on the side of the
station.
Cluj-Napoca Railway Station, also known as “Gara Mare”
(the Great Station), was inaugurated on September 7, 1870.
