I placed another 11 Illinois Spirit caches that are near old cemeteries in northwest Mercer County. The caches and hides are nothing special, just placed to bring you out to some great old cemeteries you might not know are there. The difficulty for many will be in figuring out how to get to the cemetery.
Duncan Cemetery is another old, well kept cemetery in this area of Mercer County. The oldest stone I saw was 1850, but I didn't look at them all.
Please be respectful while visiting the cemetery and no caching after dark. The cache contains swag for kids and 2 gold dollars, 1 for FTF and 1 for STF. I also placed a TB from Germany in this cache. Please bring your own pen.
Great country roads - some blacktop and some gravel. Rarely any muggles and no poison ivy!!
