Geocache Description:

An Altiods tin out in the countryside.

We all know about the 4 divisions that were trained out at Camp Adair between 1942 and 1944 before they were sent off to fight, but there was 1 more group stationed there, The 9th Signal Corps.
Among making communication available to the area and to the main camp, it was also the job of the 9th to take pictures of the area as well as the men who came through the training there.
The person that actually headed the work there was a civilian by the name of Zeke Walton.
Without the work of the 9th and Zeke Walton, much of what we see and know about Camp Adair most likely would have been lost and faded in memory with time. As for where the cache is, it may not be part of Camp Adair, Adair Village, or E.E.Wilson, during World War II this area was within the boundaries of Camp Adair.
