luckycharmer: Stopped by to replace cache and enable but discovered the entire area now contains at least five 12” widow makers and a large number of smaller hanging limbs. Safer to archive 😥😔😩

Geocache Description:

What can be more enchanting than fairies. But how many of us get a chance to see them? Here’s your opportunity to increase that chance. Every fairy needs a home to live and raise their family in. Let’s try attracting fairies to this area by building fairy houses. Legend has it that if you build a fairy home and leave it in your garden, you might attract a fairy. Even if you don't believe in fairies, spending time in this area can be magical.

Fairy Houses can take many forms and can be created in many different places. The base of a tree or the side of a rock could be just right. Close to the ground is usually best.
Many fairy houses look so natural that they are almost hidden.

Please use only natural material that is offered by nature - pieces of bark, sticks, dried grass, acorns, pinecones, feathers, shells, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Fairies will not live in a house made with living materials that have been picked or killed. Do not pick or remove mosses, flowers or any living thing. You are welcome to come back and make changes to you fairy house but please do not destroy others by removing material from them.

To claim this find just sign the log. The cache is under a fallen log with a grapevine wreath marking the spot nearby. You do not have to search a fairy house to find it.

Please take the time to build your own fairy house and describe it in your on-line log; Where you put it, what materials you used, etc. Have fun building them and enjoy all of your special visitors!
If you have a digital camera, please take a picture.
The more enchanting your fairy house is the more likely it will attract a family of fairies. A fairy house that sticks out to much will also attract trolls, or other predators, which hurt fairies and gnomes. Also, people who don't like fairies, called "Stompers," will stomp on a fairy house that is too big and obtrusive in the woods.

You might think about making this your last cache of the day and gathering material as you go.
