Geocache Description:

Nano magnetic cache at the beginning of the Edith Falls Trail

This 39 hectares facility was built by American servicemen during their occupation of the north west peninsula in World War II.

Nestled between the hills of Chaguaramas amidst tropical vegetation in the scenic Tucker valley the Chaguaramas public golf course is located just off the main Tucker Valley Road on the way to Macqueripe beach. The area of the course, from the second to the sixth holes was built over the old tonka bean plantation. It included some mature and splendid tonka bean trees that are well over 100 years of age.

After passing the first greens on your left, is the start of the Edith Falls Trail. A nice hike that will take you to the Edith Waterfall and... to the Edith Fall cache!

DO NOT HESITATE TO GO ON THE TRAIL AND TO GO FOR THE EDITH FALLS CACHE ( (visit link) ): IT IS A GREAT HIKE AND A GREAT CACHE!

But on your way there - or on your way back - do not forget to check the nano cache I have placed at the start of the trail!

After the hike, you can 'lime' (Trini expression to say that you're sharing a drink with friends while discussing with them) nicely at the bar of the golf in a large open but covered area.
