This cache is located in the James T. Slavin Conservation Area.
The James T Slavin Conservation property consists of 628 acres located in the Rosa Butte area. The topography is a combination of low, rolling pastures surrounded by high, forested buttes. The property contains a variety of habitat types including ponds, upland pine and fir forests, wetlands, and grassy meadows.
Driving Directions: Take the Pullman HIghway (Hwy 195) south from I-90 in Spokane. Exit (west)on Washington Road (about 8 miles south) and travel .4 miles West until you intersect with Keeney Rd. Parking lot coordinates: N 47 32.219, W 117 24.732 The trail is no longer a loop trail due to the boundries being strictly enforced. Please make sure to use the parking coordinates, any other parking areas are on private property.

This Cache is in honor of my brother Glen(Hugs & Kisses)who introduced me to geocaching, My brother in-law Rafael(rafmaster)who I introduced to geocaching during his visit from California, and myself Jerry (The Goon Farm)I don’t live to far from here and love to bike, hike and horseback here. This is the first cache I’ve placed so any feedback will be great.
These coordinates: [N 47 32.140, W 117 25.562 ] are not to the actual cache but take you to a clue within 60 ft of the cache. To find the cache you have to put together the clues. upon arriving at the coordinates you will see a metal "T" post(old metal fencepost)here are the clues:
The "T" post is the #1, behind you when facing the 41 ("4+1") is the cache at the bottom of a "wooden rainbow".
Well its a long hike so bring some water, I have put $10 for the FTF in the log book. Cache also has some DVDs, a veggies tales video, a PC game, a geocache zipper pull compass, some small trade items, 2 travel bugs: a coin AOCJ7G and my own (Tri-Five Chevy TB2T9T1)
