How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A beautiful mountain pass leading into Greers Ferry and Higden, while overlooking Greers Ferry Lake which will surely make you wish for a camera.

This is a neat little stop that many people pass by without noticing. Make sure to have your blinker on or esle someone might slam into your backend. Stop off and take a few pictures of the beautiful view.

Cache is a contact case put inside the sign at the roadside. The coordinates are withing 10 feet of the cache. If you've been caching for some time then you know exactly where it will be with all the information that has been given. No pen so bring your own utensil, and no room for swag. If the cache is not there please make a note of it in your log or post a needs maintenance.

In addition, if you've ever wanted to CITO then this would be a good place to start. The pull-off here collects a lot of trash, and even just picking up a bag full would surely help out quite a bit.

A quick note as of 7/10/11: If you are 5'6" and under you may wish to bring a grabbing tool to grab the cache from it's hiding place. A coat hook or a stick should work just fine.
