Geocache Description:

The cache is located just off the Bridle Way between the end of Hambridge Lane leading up to Greenham Common on the BBOWT Living Landscape walk.There is a car park at N 51 23.585/W 001 16.988.If you are driving to the cache (you can only do this via Hambridge Lane)please use the roadway to the gravel processing plant-please do not drive or cycle past the the small housing development-respect the houseowners privacy-and quite often the gate at the south end just past the development is locked shut.For the birdwatchers among you there is a hide closeby open 24/7 for your use overlooking a gravel pit with a good selection of birds all year round,although it is best in Autumn and Winter.Rarities and uncommon species do turn up occasionly and you can view recent sightings on - Lower Farm GP you will also pass Lower Farm Trout Lakes but there is no access-it can only be viewed from the roadway or Bowdown Woods.Bowdown/Baynes Woods BBOWT nature reserves are closeby as is Greenham/Crookham Common.

The cache is located on the footpath to the hide, there is no need to climb over any fences.
