Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the "got nothing to do on Saturday night?" series.

This is located at the Mascoutah Reservoir. Numerous ducks and geese can be seen in the area and will come close to you in search of bread. Numerous people come here to fish and the high school across the street used to use the reservoir to teach students how to sail, canoe, etc. There is a trail that splits the reservoir and a nature trail on the west side of the reservoir. Newly placed picnic areas have been set up as well.

Plenty of parking available, terrain is a bit grassy with some small gravel & dirt but wheelchair accessible.

Cache is small and only holds a log & pencil. Small TBs could fit, but only coin style or small tracking bugs. Beware muggles in the area. PLEASE conceal cache back in its place. THANK YOU!
