Tutton's Well View Traditional Cache
Steveky4: Checked on the cache tonight and it has gone and so has the no parking sign it was hidden behind! This is a pretty spot but i have lost about eight caches here and i suspect some muggle is watching for geocachers and then removing the caches. Regretfully i have decided to archive the cache. Thanks to all those who took the time and effort to find.

A micro cache at an interesting and pretty spot. Views over Stanpit Marsh. Cache and dash is possible, but best parking is at Stanpit Recreation Ground about 100 yards West of the cache.
Tutton's Well is the last remaining natural geological erupting mineral spring within a public open space in East Dorset.
The water of the well was recognised as having unusual purity with medicinal values as it contains a wide range of important minerals.
In medieval times it was transported around the country as a cure and known as The Christchurch Elixir.
The well was capped in 1941 and this tribute was built in 2004.
The cache is not at the historic well itself (as your GPS should indicate). Bring a pen and also a pin to extract the log book.
Please be stealthy as this cache has been previously muggled
