I would imagine the power of levitation is a desired weapon in a super hero's aresenal, but only while sleeping? I fail to see the return versus cost of levitating while enjoying an afternoon nap on the sofa. Waking up several feet above the bed must be frightening not to mention the absolute disadvantage of fighting crime while under restorative REM sleep.
Here's a better option. How about the ability to not snore or wet the bed? These seem like more practical applications during sleep.
