Geocache Description:

One of my favorite locations on the trip to Brockville.

Local legend has it (or a couple guys shooting the breeze over a pint anyway) that Brandy Hill came about its name many years ago when a bootlegger was running brandy up the hill when his wagon somehow broke at the top of the hill thus spilling brandy all down the hill.

I remember as a kid, driving in the backseat of the car and the feeling in my stomach when you came to an area like this. You didn't even have to be paying attention, you just felt the butterflies and you knew.
Years later, I was driving this route with my own kids, they weren't paying attention, in the backseat chatting away, I knew we were close, gave it a little more gas(still within the speed limit of course), once we crested the hill, the squeal that came from the backseat brought back so many memories. I still smile when I think of it.

Be sure to park on Crystal Road for safety reasons.
