This Jacksonville City Park is open from
sunrise to sunset. It features picnic areas, scenic overlooks, and
miles of hiking trails. The park has been under construction for a
little over a year and finally reopened in April of 2011. The
improved trail system features a complete loop that will allow
visitors to explore the whole park with minimal
backtracking.
When completing the loop, I recommend from the posted map at
the main intersection of trails, you turn left and follow the
trails clockwise around the park. This will give you a straight
approach to the side trail you will need to take to reach James
Caan and will put you on the main loop of the trail to reach
this cache.
Cachers are seeking an ammo can not too far from the trail marker
at the "T" intersection.
