efrodo: I decided to archive this cache since it's been difficult for some cachers to get the lid back on and the contents get soaked in the rain. It had a nice run. My daughter hauled it out of the woods for me. Thanks for all the nice logs.

Geocache Description:

The Enchanted Toy Chest is a kid-size adventure the whole family can enjoy. You will need to park in the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary to access the trails out to this oversize cache. The park is open 9am-5pm, Tuesday through Sunday only.

Please take a minute to sign in at the visitor's desk. You might want to grab one of their trail maps because you will need to find several different trails to get to this cache. Don't forget to bring bug spray and plenty of water with you. The mosquitoes can be pretty bad during parts of the year.

Photobucket Along the way you may encounter some amazing creatures. The Banana Spider, also called the Golden Orb spider, is often hanging out along the trail. She's harmless and won't attack you even if you happen to walk right into her web. Banana Spiders are helpful because they eat mosquitoes. If you find some of their webbing stretched across the trail, use a stick to gently move it out of the way so you don't disturb the spider.


Please take care to re-hide the cache so it's not visible from the trail. Help keep bugs and moisture out of the cache by placing the lid squarely on the container and latching it at both ends. Thanks!
