Geocache Description:

This cache will be better found at night or late evening as it involves following a trail of reflective trail markers. The final cache will be located within 1 meter of the final marker. You will have to solve the word search below to gain access to the cache. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING A FLASH LIGHT.

Not enough night caches in the Thunder Bay area so here is one more! The cache is not at the listed coordinates but will start you at the beginning of a firetack trail. You will start at a tree with three orange markers. Each tree in succession (six in total) will have a single marker located about six feet (2 meters) off the ground. Position yourself on the opposite side of the tree to locate the next tree marker. The final tree will also have three orange markers and the cache can be found within one meter of this marker.

The word search (attached as a jpeg to this page) will reveal three digits that will be required to open the cache. You will have to determine in which order to place these digits to access the signing log and the pirates booty, which consists of a number of trackables, including a few new coins that we are launching, more assorted coins, swag, logbook, pencil and the FTF reward. Please ensure that everything is put back together the way you found it and place the natural camo back so that others can enjoy this cache. I would like this cache to be a geocoin/trackable hotel of sorts to continue the Pirates Booty theme, so if at all possible please switch out trackables. Please avoid the train tracks near by as neither the trail nor the cache is any where near it. While you are here take a moment and view one of Thunder Bays oldest Landmarks, the Jack Knife Bridge that is now solely used for rail access to Mission Island.
