Iški Vintgar je ena najbolj priljubljenih izletniških tock v okolici Ljubljanskega barja.
Bregovi reke Iške ponujajo pravo botanicno zakladnico, cista reka premaguje skalne ovire v slapovih in slapišcih, obcasno pa zastane v vabljivih tolmunih. Od gostišca vodi po levem bregu evropska pešpot E-6, ob koncu udobne steze pa je za nadaljevanje po pešpoti treba prebroditi nekaj metrov hladne vode.
Ce ostanemo na levem bregu, nas oznacena, a strma pot popelje do ostankov partizanske bolnišnice Krvavice.
Iški Vintgar je prava izbira kam se podati na vroc poleten dan, saj vas tam caka prijetna senca,hladna žuboreca voda in tolmuncke,v katerih se lahko okopate.
Iskanje tega zakladka vas pripelje do enega od teh tolmunckov (približno 20 minut hoje od gostišca, po desni strani - lepa sprehajalna pot). Kdor pa želi pot nadaljevati po strugi reke Iške, pa mora biti že malo bolje pripravljen - primerna obutev.

Iška banks of the river offer a real botanical treasures with clean river.
