4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

A smallish cache in an old pug hole.

Brompton was the home of many deep and dirty pug holes. Clay from these holes was dug out and used for making bricks. The holes were filled with rubbish for years. This new reserve is over an old pug hole which was cleaned up a few years ago. It is now a stormwater detention basin so don't forget to put the plug back after retrieving the cache.

Reviewer notes

Use this space to describe your geocache location, container, and how it's hidden to your reviewer. If you've made changes, tell the reviewer what changes you made. The more they know, the easier it is for them to publish your geocache. This note will not be visible to the public when your geocache is published.
