For the last four years I have been passing by this strangely shaped tower twice a day. I have told myself that a cache must be placed in this spot, and now, when I am leaving Rehovot, I am finally doing it.
The cache is by a tall Watch tower, clearly visible from the road, as it stands at the crest of the hill. Its shape looks to me like something out of Lost, and all in all, it seems very out of place in the fields outside of Rehovot.
Getting to the cache: There are dirt roads getting to the tower itself, but I would no recommend driving them unless you drive a 4x4. Easiest way is to take route 40 from Ramla to Rahovot and park your car in the 'Sonol Sitriya' gas station. From there the hike to the tower is very easy and short (350 meters).
Important note: the cache is not inside the tower, as it is very littered, so there is no need to step inside.
