The kids of Camp Junior Master Gardener placed this cache while at day camp at the OSU Botanic Garden. It is near the new entrance to the Botanic Garden, near Cow Creek. Junior Master Gardener is a program for kids that uses gardening to teach nutrition, core and elective school subjects (math, science, social studies, PE, music, art, English), ecology, landscaping, and explore careers, in addition to completing community service projects. You can use one lesson or as many as you'd like, and the materials necessary to do most projects are found around the house--paper plates, old ties, milk cartons, craft supplies, etc. You can learn more about Junior Master Gardener at www.jmgkids.us
