Geocache Description:

Ward Park covers an area of 37 acres and among its attractions are a childrens playground, all weather hockey pitches, cricket pitch, rugby pitch, bowling greens, putting green and tennis courts. It also has a chain of small lakes providing wildfowl sanctuary with many interesting specimens and dry pens containing a large variety of exotic birds. There are also beautifully kept gardens and walkways. A guide to the wildlife Trail is available at the Heritage Centre.

This cache is located in roughly the centre of the park, between the ponds and bird pens, and the cricket pitches.

The cache is a camo'd 35mm film canister, and is totally invisible from the ground. It contains a log and a pencil.

The paths are all wheelchair friendly, but the final reach would make the cache inaccessible from a wheelchair.
