This cache is named after Old Black Tail, a weird animal. If searching at night the UV light could be very handy. Should be a quick grab for experienced cachers, maybe a little harder for newer.
It seems that quite some time ago Old George Carver hid a small treasure around this area. People looked and looked but couldn't find it. Billy Waite was out looking one day and saw what he thought was a black rope sticking out of a hole. It turned out to be the weirdest animal he had ever seen. It had a white head long black body and tail. It was a good thing he had his gloves on because it grabbed his hands with its little claws. It startled him and he dropped it. It ran into the bushes never to be seen again. Billy did see a container where the animal had been. So he reach in and picked it up. Yes! He exclaimed, "I've found it." From then on when telling his story he called the weird animal Old Black Tail. Old Black Tail is long gone, but look for one of his distant relatives and you too can find a treasure. Good Luck
