The Cache to Eagle series highlights service projects conducted by Eagle Scout candidates. This is the sixth in a series of caches highlighting Eagle Scout service projects in the Trailblazer District of Northern Star Council, BSA.
This Eagle Scout service project was conducted from July 4, 2009 until September 1, 2009 by an Eagle Scout from Troop 3224 in Willmar, MN. The service project involved 15 volunteers working 250 hours. The existing flag poles were removed and all rust present was sanded. The poles were each repainted in a shining silver. Ropes and flag clips were replaced as needed. Once each pole was properly finished, they were put back in the original places.
NOTE: Each “Cache to Eagle” cache has a designated code word, which is one of the twelve points of the Scout Law. Record this word for future use as more caches in the series are placed Boys Scouts of America.
When you find the cache, please, just put your username on the log. Remember to keep a record of the key word found. Please place cache exactly as it was when you found it so we don't have muggles finding it by accident.
