The cache is located on a rocky outcrop on the Gumjuwac Trail. Start from the TH on Highway 35 (waypoint) to gain about 1500 feet in 2 miles.
As you are nearing the cache area, when you see the rocky scree field, avoid the temptation to scramble across it, stay on the trail until you are above the cache-it is only about 20-30 feet off the trail and it is easist to drop down to it.
Not done hiking? Need another smiley? Continue on up another half mile to Gumjuwac Saddle, and turn right on the Gunsight Trail to get to the Gunsight Butte Cache, or cross over the saddle and take the Divide Trail down to the lake to find the Badger Lake Cache.
