Please be aware that most of these OT caches present a difficult problem with maintenance. If you attempt any of the caches in this series, it would be greatly appreciated if you are equipped with several replacement containers and plenty of logs. You will be right at ground zero, if C/O has to make a special trip to maintain any of these it would involve a round trip of approximately 50 miles and a hike of anywhere up to 9 miles round trip.
This is a continuation of the OT caches that begins on the north side of the lake. The trail on this section winds through a heavily wooded landscape and the terrain is mostly flat. Be careful at the steps just west of highway 10 near the parking area. Be sure to take plenty of water along especially during the hotter months. Have fun and be safe.
