Hidden Raiforest walk at Lighthouse beach
This is a pathway through a beachside rainforest regeneration project just around the corner from Tacking Point Surf Lifesaving Club.
We all know the state of Lighthouse Road east of Bangalay drive and how narrow and dangerous this road is to walk to and from the beach from anywhere near the school.
Via the use of this path through the rainforest, it is possible to walk in quiet streets and in safety to and from the beach, and along the way see some beautiful rainforest flora and fauna as you go.
Please Note:
As this is regenerating rainforest, please keep to the concrete pathway so as not to damage any of the plantlife.
The Cache The cache is an 800mm cliplock Container and is not too far off the path. Please take care however not to trample any new growth.
This is a heavily forested area and has higher terrain surrounding it so your GPS reading might be a little off at times. The location of the cache however should not be to difficult to find.
