How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A simple small stand alone cache made and hidden by 3 little treasure hunters on the edge of a nice little park in Horbury.

The GZ is a little open so please use a little stealth when retrieving it.

See the mansion over the hill from the GZ in the centre of Carr Lodge park ... Sunroyd House now known at Carr Lodge Mansion from the Georgian period is eighteenth century and awaiting re-development.

From the mansion, looking down towards Benton Hill, you can see evidence of medieval farming of the park from the series of long parallel mounds.

Plenty of good trees for little people to climb on in the park ... see the fallen weeping willow in the centre of the park for little hunters.
There are picnic benches near the climbing walls at the rec area if you bring a picnic.
