LookingintheLight was off the grid for a couple of years. It is hardly much fun to find a dilapidated cache. The cover is back on, but I can't reattach it as it was originally. It is there nonetheless! Enjoy the trail.
You will be taking a 1/4 mile walk, tennis shoes are fine. DO NOT go through private property or the golf course, and NO climbing fences or trees. The neighborhood pups are a very noisy bunch, but they can't jump fences. The trail is only open during the daylight.
In relation to the golf course, the cache is closest to the 13th hole. Over 15 years ago the City of Lynnwood built the Municipal Golf Course. Before it was built, this area was a greenbelt with sketchy trails winding through. Although it was lovely, it was difficult to access, not maintained, and the biggest concern was safety. When the plans for the golf course were unveiled a few of the vocal residents refused to give up their walking path and fought to keep some sort of trail in the area. So when the golf course was built the city included this two mile trail which borders the entire golf course. Their foresight has been a blessing to many!
