Geocache Description:

Time For S'mores!!

It turns out that a few of us are camping at the Beckler River Campground on the weekend starting August 12, in preparation for the next day's event at Wellington. We thought it might be fun to visit around a campfire, and it also might be fun to invite fellow cachers, whether they're camping with us or not, whether they plan to attend the event at Wellington or not. So, we decided to have an event!! (Right, Lizzy??) ;-)

So come join us around a campfire, at my campsite - #24, from 6:30p-9:30p. The fire will be provided. You bring what you'd like to eat, be it dinner, dessert, s'mores or ??? Keep in mind that there will be no electricity or running water. This is a basic campground, after all.

THE DETAILS:

When? Friday, August 12, 2100; 6:30p - 9:30p, rain or shine!
Where? Beckler River Campground, Space #24. Look for the Geocaching.com flag and the FluteFace banner to be sure you have the right site.
What about parking? Parking will be tight, so carpooling might be a good idea. We will make every effort to have space at cachers' campsites, but if we run out of room, there is parking available at the restroom as you enter the campground for a fee. Drive to the event, and we'll guide you from there.
What should I bring? This is primarily meant as an evening campfire event, so make sure you dress appropriately. You are welcome to bring whatever you need to eat. Please bring supplies for your group to make s'mores over the campfire, with a little extra to share -- potluck s'mores. :-) Bring a camp chair or two to cozy up to the fire with, and a flashlight in case you need to journey to the rest room or your car.
Are there caches nearby? Of course! That's another reason you might need a flashlight!
