Geocache Description:

Find the gap in the belt of trees joining two meadows and walk through the gate into the wood. Pass a couple of fallen trees until you get to a leaning dead tree covered in huge ivy branches.

From the car park you will pass the walled community garden and apple orchard (check the NT shop if you want to buy the cider!)

The cache is found in the shelter-belt wood originally planted to protect the buildings at Parke.

This cache was placed by some students of the Maynard School, Exeter, working with the National Trust rangers to produce a beginners' geocache trail around the grounds of Parke.
