Starting from the Tourist Info station, hike up the trails (I like the left fork) to the picnic table viewpoint. From the table hike up and over a small hill, find and use the Merritt Mountainbiking Association Step Ladder to go over the wire fence. Keep hiking up keeping to the left is best. Listen for Mtn. Bikers coming down... you are using their trail. You will come across a nice rustic bench beside the trail. All this uphill hiking should only take about 30 minutes.
