Geocache Description:

A tiny magnetic nano. Tweezers may be required; please replace with care.

And when they were up, they were up,
And when they were down, they were down,
And when they were only half-way up,
They were neither up nor down.

Cowes became popular when Queen Victoria acquired Osborne House and many grand Victorian and Edwardian villas were built along Queens Road as summer residences for the aristocracy, minor royals and rich industrialists. Most buildings remain, but several have made way for new housing.

One of them, Mornington House, was demolished a few years ago having become derelict and the land has been redeveloped. The original Victorian post box which was built into the boundary wall has been incorporated into the new site.
