Geocache Description:

An easy find with a short hike, in an area accessed directly off the Sea to Sky Highway. Turnoff is 18km from the Husky in Whistler and 12.3km from the Husky in Squamish.

Not being a climber, I was completely unaware that this hidden little gem existed. On a "busy" day, the air is filled with the snap of carabiners and shouted exchanges between climber and belayer.

Cache is hidden at head level (for some), but easily retrievable by all. It contains some climbing-type swag(carabiners(not rated!), bits of cord for practising knots, hacky sack), some 2010 Olympic swag (I know, it's all about London now) and a Starbucks gift card for the First to Find.

This area is located at the end of the Conroy Forest Road, about 400m off the Sea to Sky Highway. You would be well advised to only access the road while driving north on the highway. If you are coming from Whistler, you should continue past the turnoff and attempt a direction change at the recommended parking location for "A "Tantaluszing" View" GC2WK4R. I highly suggest you have a go at this cache while you're there. It's about an hour and a half round trip and well worth it.

You can park at the end of the Conroy Road, if there's room(this might be a good rainy day cache, you'll have the place to yourself). However, if the lot is full, there is another pulloff that you passed on your way up. The road is a bit gnarly, so if you cherish your low-clearance two-wheel drive car, you might want to park at the highway. Unless it's a rental ;).
The hike up the road from the highway is steep and loose, but shouldn't take too long. Bump up the terrain rating to a healthy 3 if you go this route.

I have found, even after several Waypoint Averaging sessions, that it's quite difficult to get a consistent set of coordinates for this hide. The coordinates I have provided will get you in the neighbourhood, but it's probably best to follow these directions:
The cache is located about 200m, up the trail, from the north end of the parking lot.
If you start feeling a bit claustrophobic, then you're almost there.
Proceed to the spot where the rock walls seem closest.
I've built a rock cairn within a few meters of the hide.
