[JLX.02] 11# Santuario Savona Traditional Cache

E' un santuario mariano che sorge in località Santuario del comune di Savona.

La frazione è cresciuta intorno alla basilica eretta sul luogo dell'apparizione di Nostra Signora della Misericordia al beato Antonio Botta, avvenuta nel 1536.

La chiesa del santuario, costruita nel 1536 su disegno di Pace Antonino Sormano, è un tipico esempio di primo barocco italiano, anche se la sua struttura è un po' anomala per una chiesa barocca: è costruita su tre livelli (navata, cripta e presbiterio), pare in ricordo della cattedrale romanica, che sorgeva in luogo del Priamar, distrutta dai Genovesi per lasciar spazio alla costruzione della fortezza rinascimentale.
Sul piazzale antistante la chiesa è collocata una fontana di Giacomo Antonio Ponsonelli del 1708.
Tra le opere maggiori contenute al suo interno vi sono un altare di Gian Lorenzo Bernini e una grande tela del Domenichino.

1) RICOLLOCAZIONE DEL CACHE
Il cache è oggetto di frequente manutenzione. E' facile, tuttavia, incorrere in perdite o esposizioni eccessive ai geomuggles. Si prega pertanto, di riporre il cache esattamente come indicato nelle foto spoiler.

La veridicità dei ritrovamenti è fondamentale per garantire una manutenzione programmata ed efficiente. Al termine di ogni sessione di manutenzione verrà pubblicata foto del registro delle firme. Verranno eliminati tutti i ritrovamenti che non trovino riscontro. Qualora vi foste dimenticati la penna, vi chiedo la cortesia di inviare via e-mail un photolog (una foto di voi che tenete cache e logbook nelle vostre mani. Fate un bel sorriso!).

It 's a Marian shrine that stands in the village Santuario of the city  of Savona.

The village grew up around the basilica built on the site of the apparition of Our Lady of Mercy to St. Anthony Botta, which took place in 1536.

THE STRUCTURE
The church, built in 1536 and designed by Pace Antonino Sormano , is a typical example of early Italian Baroque, although its structure is a bit unusual for a baroque church: it is built on three levels (the nave, the crypt and presbytery), apparently in memory of the Romanesque cathedral, which stood in place of Priamar Fortress, destroyed by the Genoeses, to make place for the construction of the Renaissance fortress.
On the square opposite the church there is a fountain by Giacomo Antonio Ponsonelli built in 1708.
Among the major works that are contained inside it there is an altar of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and a large painting by Domenichino.

2) LOGS
The truth of the founds is very important for a scheduled and efficient maintenance. At the end of every maintenance session a logbook photo will be published.
