You can park at Astley church but please avoid times when
church-goers are using the car park. Walk down past the church and
graveyard (on your right), over a stile, and then take the public
footpath on the right which leads down the hollow way to the cache.
The hollow way continues to the Dick Brook and thence to the
monastery. Glasshampton house, the manor house of Astley, was built
in the 1700s and belonged to the Cookes family. It burned down in
the early 1800s and the stable block was converted into a
monastery. More information about the history of Glasshampton house
can be found at

Astley church is built of the local red sandstone and dates from
1160.
The cache is on a rural footpath, along the sunken way, and
originally held a logbook, swappable toys and a trackable.
It is in a clip top plastic box wrapped in a brown bag, at about
head height.
