Deer Trap South Fork Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Alpine Reviewer: As I have not received an update from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you (the cache owner) wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, please contact me, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

About 4.5 miles round trip up and down along a mesa top and out to the cache location. Hands are needed periodically when traversing across the mesa. This is another one in the series of Pajarito Plateau Mesa Top Caches.

Start this one at N35° 54.266 / W106° 16.496. Towards the end of the mesa you traverse a narrow ridge top where hands are required in a couple of places. You should go all the way out to the end of this mesa finger: it will add about a mile to your hike and the views are very pretty.

Goodies left:

  • Little Orange Kitty
  • Vegetarian dog toy
  • Paper pig
  • A blue sun
  • A leopard napkin ring holder
  • A green massage thingy
  • A cat toy

This cache is the fifth in a series of seven we call the Pajarito Plateau Mesa Top Caches.
