Geocache Description:

This used to be a quick puzzle cache that took you to a couple of places in the village of Silver Springs. First way point is no longer there, so now it has been changed to a traditional cache. Container is a micro and is available at all times.

Through late spring, all summer, and start of fall, my family has always watched Yankees baseball games for as long as I can remember. We continue that tradition today and catch as many games on TV or radio as we can. This cache is in tribute to the game that has made up this tradition for my family.
The cache location is where many a local young athlete has played countless games of baseball. A Little League field was located here for many years before it was replaced by the road that is here now to make it easier for tractor trailers to navigate the turns and to keep them off Main St. in the village.
New cache coordinates are:
N 42° 39.316 W 078° 05.028
Be sure to park off of the road. Bring your own pen and please replace the cache as you found it or better.
