We often come down to this nice park after dinner. There several older caches here, but a park this nice surely has room for one more, even if it is a micro! This cache is a camo taped matchstick container. Nevermind the nails: they predate and have nothing to do with this hide.
Stealth will not usually be an issue, but please use good judgment if others are nearby. Contains a log only -- bring a pencil!
The Town of Shelby maintains 13 smaller parks and two larger ones to retain green space and preserve areas where children can play, people can picnic, and families and friends can gather to enjoy the outdoors. Mormon Coulee Park is located just off of Hwy 14/61 on Mormon Creek behind the Millstream addition.
This well-maintained park has several shelters and picnic areas; a baseball field, tennis court, and basketball court; a high wooden bridge over Mormon Creek; and a nice mix of old-school and up-to-date playground equipment the kids will love. Come on out and enjoy this quiet, spacious park!
