Fox Bluff Conservation Area

You are looking for a clear plastic container.
The ear;y morning parking lot is closed due to construction. DO NOT enter or park thru this lot!!!! The trail leading to it is closed as well.
The land this site resides on was once a ski hill. Deep within the site, remnants still remain. Prior to the District preserving this site, it was slated to be developed into a subdivision. The Fox Bluff site was opened by the McHenry County Conservation District in 2004. In this same year, the Camp Algonquin site was purchased as an addition to this parcel. The main parcel contains an approximate .75 mile hiking trail and provides access to the Fox River for fishing.
This cache was placed by the McHenry County Conservation District as part of the Cache Your Way Across McHenry County program. You do not need to be part of the program to seek this cache! If you are not part of the program, normal geocaching etiquette applies – please leave the informational card in place for those who are in the program!
