Geocache Description:

Historical Sign on side of building.

*** I have reports that the sign is nearby the original location but there is another historical sign close by too so be careful!*** This is a Virtual cache. It is a historical sign on the side of a building indicating a very important event in the history of the modern world. Unfortunatly the building that this event took place in is gone but the sign remains.

This was an important scientific/geographical event that changed the way we do things in the world today, especially now in a global economy.

You will know you found the cache if you know who invented Standard Time and where and when it was invented.

In order to log your find please email me and tell me what the building the sign is on is currently being used for!!!

Once your done, if you've ever wanted to see where Magnetic North is, here's your chance; Walk East about 100m!!!
