A tough hide in a densely wooded quarry with steep sides and dubious GPS reception. BE AWARE of sharp drops in places and also of the pond/marsh in the central area, especially if caching with children.
Well done to Gandab for FTF! Was hoping for a few DNFs before this so have slightly amended the hint accordingly. :)
No climbing of the quarry sides is necessary, either up or down. The stone is very friable and could be dangerous.
This is a fiendishly hidden micro-cache (2ml surgical sample tube) hidden inside something that is out of place although by no means easy to find.
There are steep quarry sides but the danger area has recently been fenced but please still please take care, especially with uncovered legs in Summer, not everyone has my passion for stinging nettle buzz.
If you get to read the information board, pay attention to the geology in the quarry and remember you are looking for something that has no right being in a SANDSTONE quarry in Gorsley.
When you find the cache, receive it carefully from its disguise and please make sure you reinsert and reposition it in the exact same spot and position you took it from.
